Choosing a Collar


A handy reference guide to help you choose the perfect collar for your one-of-a-kind, custom shirts.
 Stay Collar Styles:

Conservative:

3.25" Point length and a moderate spread. Ideally suited for smaller knots such as a 'four-in-hand' knot.

Traditional:

2.875" point length and a moderate spread. Ideally suited for smaller knots such as a 'four-in-hand' knot.

Medium:

3" point length and a slightly wider spread. Ideally suited for any style tie knot.

Wide:

3" point length and a wide spread. Ideally suited for big, bold knot styles like the Windsor knot.  

Cutaway:

Extreme wide spread collar. Often worn with big, bold knot styles like the Windsor knot. 

 Button Down Styles:

Button down:

Traditional button-down style collar with a 3.25" point length and a moderate spread. When paired with a tie, a smaller knot is preferred.

University:

The preferred collar style for the OCBD purist.  A 3.375" point length to give the perfect collar roll. Not generally work with ties. No fusing or interlining for a very soft collar.

Hidden Button Down:

A prefect choice for you if you like to keep you collar perfectly positioned. 3.125" point length and a moderate spread.  Hidden loops securely fasten to keep the collar in place. 

 Tie Pin Collars:

Rounded Point:

For the gentleman who wears a tie pin. A rounded point collar with 2.375" point length and sewn eyelets.

Traditional Point:

For the gentleman who wears a tie pin. A traditional point collar with 2.875" point length and sewn eyelets.

 Formal Collars (Tuxedo):

Wing Collar:

A traditional wing collar for wearing with your tuxedo and bow tie.

Conservative:

For wear with formal tuxedos. A versatile option that can be worn with a bow tie or a formal cravat.
